FAQ

  • What currencies do you accept as payment?
All courses and one-to-one lessons must be paid in GBP (£, Pound Sterling). For all international students outside the UK, I recommend opening a Borderless Wise Account.
  • How do I know what my language level is?
Prior to any lesson booking, you will be assessed through a quick language level test. This is to make sure you are either in the right class or the right level for your one-to-one lessons.
  • What happens if I find the class to be too easy/too difficult for my current language level?
You would generally be assigned to a class which reflects your language level results. However, if this does not end up being the case, please get in touch so you can be moved to the appropriate class (subject to availability).
  • Will learning material be provided?
All slides and exercises will be handed out during the lesson. Books and supporting material will have to be purchased separately and it depends on the course booked. Please enquire for more information. Discount codes are available on request.
  • What if I have to cancel a one-to-one lesson?
Please give at least 24h notice whenever possible. All cancellations will be reviewed on a case by case basis, but as a general guidance, no-shows would be charged anyway at the end of the month.
  • What if the course I was supposed to be in is full?
Sometimes courses can be quite full so booking in advance is highly recommendable. However, should this happen, you will be allocated to the next available one or to a similar level course if applicable.
  • Can I pay class lessons individually?
No, class lessons must be booked and paid as a package, which usually provides 10 lessons (once a week for 10 weeks).
  • Can I request additional lessons to my current class?
If you are planning to book additional one-to-one lessons, these will be charged on a one-to-one basis (instead of the singular class fee).
  • What if I change my mind and want to opt out a course?
For group lessons, you can ask for a refund within the first week of the course. After that, you may incur in a cancellation fee (which is a third of the whole amount, e.g: £50 over £150). For one-to-one lessons, once a time and date is agreed, these will proceed on a rolling basis. All single lessons will be invoiced altogether at the end of the month. If you plan to opt out, please give at least a week of notice.
  • How does your refund policy work?
Should this happen, the amount refundable (after having deducted any cancellation fees) will be returned to the original bank account within 2 working days.
  • Are all lessons fully taught in Italian?
All sessions and course materials are delivered in Italian, to enhance immersion and expedite language learning. Nevertheless, at the start or in some occasions, Eleonora will adopt English to assist novice students in comprehending and keeping pace with the curriculum, ensuring a seamless learning journey.
